Looking down; looking up
For ag, because….are these things obvious, and if so or if not, then who to or who not to?
And for Lynn, because…yes, always up and always down and all ways all around.

I love this different view of commonplace details with a different approach. A lovely composite and monochromatic series. And thank you for the link to ag (Lynn I already know of).

Wonderful, Johnny….I like them all, and I like always/all ways. Perfect. The little “weeds” growing int he concrete blocks – I’ve seen that phenomenon, over and over. Especially when I lived in the city, I was forever looking for plants that grew in odd places, despite the odds. The grass texture is a nice counterpoint too, to the puddles where you focused so intently, and the sky.

I’m pretty sure that those cinder blocks have a story to tell, one that came to me just last night in a kind of a dream state….more dangling threads….

I can definitely relate to the Weston quote. As for yours, I’ll just have to trust that it’s full of wisdom 🙂

Well….acceptance of a lack of certainty, perhaps….
My mother often used to say, “The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.”, which I always think of as a deep kind of wisdom.
