Go on about your day.
I’ll see you in church….anywhere you find it.
I saw Cannonball a long, long time ago in Rochester. What a thrill!

No doubt. There are so many jazz greats that I would have loved to see. I can count just a couple, but there were just so many. And I’m afraid I’m behind the times and now don’t know much about contemporary jazz. Tons of great players out there for sure, but I’d barely know where to begin. I’m still discovering amazing Towering Figures from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
Ah, well.
Life.

Great ground-breaking album. Orrin Keepnews’s production is fabulous – one of my favorite producers of that time – love his work with Bill Evans Trio at the Vanguard. —CC

Afraid I am not so hip/knowledgable as to know producers, though of course certain labels stick out–Prestige, Blue Note, Impulse, etc.
I know what I like to listen to.
I will have to check out the Bill Evans you mention. Love him.
