...like a click- pen that doesn’t click. Or worse—a click pen with an unimpressive, dull and disappointing cl—. Shadorma November, Day 2 (eleven days late....) (...or does that make it ten?...)

I am very particular about my pens.
They must be click pens and
they must click well.

my brother makes quite exquisite “fancy” wood pens that I own which are twist pens. but i know how you feel. It has to feel right in your hand to be of any damn use.

Can’t do the twist.
Or at least I haven’t found the right twist pen yet.
My current medium-ish cheap POC (pen of choice) is the Pentel EnerGel Alloy RT Gel Pen, Medium Metal Tip, Silver Barrel, Black Ink.
It’s a smooth operator.
Although the truth is I only take short notes with pen and paper. Crampy hands.
The bulk of my writing is via keyboard.

i feel like everyone has ditched pens/pencils like old lovers to take up the keyboard’s punch. no matter. keep writing one way or the other.

I still keep them around. I still love them. Just can’t roll in the hay with them like I used to.
Not for hours on end anyway. Too many years with knives and restaurant china plates in my hands.

Can a pen thud?

It can certainly be a dud.

But if it is, we’ll probably let it languish.

reading comments above, I look at my fav pen and see it’s Pentel, and called “Client.” So strange.

Thanks to all my charity work (yeah, I’m a f- saint) – all my pens tell me not to be depressed, not to kill myself or how to contact the emergency services… quite puts me on edge when I write… oooh, cl-, er… oh… -ick

Ah, but isn’t it the release of the tension (oo-errrrr) that drives us?
Perhaps mute pens would be better…..

Yes. I shall have to find some pens from Holiday Inn and Jack Daniels – or perhaps this is a business opportunity… positive message pens. “Go on, you can write this.” and “Gosh, your a great poet.”
