false face 9 (mirrors of our words)

Can you imagine
any more than I can
what it would be like
to not inhabit the space
our bodies occupy?
And yet, is this not what
we have all been doing
for far too long?

  1. I think that is a question that has been asked many many times, in many forms, in every kind of literature and music we’ve made. I still don’t know the answer: where I am, where I’m not, what weight is of the place I do inhabit, and if it exists here or elsewhere. Thanks for the morning thoughts.
